Schlicht regions for entire and meromorphic functions
Let f : C → C be a meromorphic function. We study the size of the maximal disc in C with respect to spherical metric, in which a singlevalued branch of f−1 exists. The problem is related to normality and type criteria. Best possible lower estimates of the size of such discs are obtained for entire functions and a class of meromorphic functions containing all elliptic functions. An estimate for ...
متن کاملUniqueness theorems of entire and meromorphic functions sharing small function
In this paper, we deal with some uniqueness theorems of two transcendental meromorphic functions with their non-linear differential polynomials sharing a small function. These results in this paper improve those given by of Fang and Hong [M.L.Fang and W.Hong,A unicity theorem for entire functions concerning differential polynomials,Indian J.Pure Appl.Math.32.(2001),No.9,1343-1348.], I.Lahiri an...
متن کاملA Note On Uniqueness Of Meromorphic Functions And Their Derivatives Sharing Two Sets
In this paper, on the basis of a specific question raised in [6], we further continue our investigations on the uniqueness of a meromorphic function with its higher derivatives sharing two sets and answer the question affi rmatively. Moreover, we exhibit some examples to show the sharpness of some conditions used in our main result.
متن کاملA Theorem on Entire Functions
Let G(k) = ∫ 1 0 g(x)e kxdx, g ∈ L1(0, 1). The main result of this paper is the following theorem. THEOREM 1. There exists g 6≡ 0, g ∈ C∞ 0 (0, 1), such that G(kj) = 0, kj < kj+1, limj→∞ kj =∞, limk→∞ |G(k)| does not exist, lim supk→+∞ |G(k)| = ∞. This g oscillates infinitely often in any interval [1− δ, 1], however small δ > 0 is. MSC: 30D15, 42A38, 42A63
متن کاملEstimation of Growth of Composite Entire and Meromorphic Functions of Order Zero on the Basis of Slowly Changing Functions
In the paper we study the growth properties of composite entire and meromophic functions using L-order and L∗-order improving some earlier results where L ≡ L(r) is a slowly changing function. Mathematics Subject Classification: 30D35, 30D30
